By using the ChimneyClear CA website or scheduling services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services. We may update the terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms apply to residential and light commercial chimney inspection, sweeping, and basic hearth maintenance across Canada where we operate.

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be a resident or business authorized in Canada and at least the age of majority in your province. When creating any account or booking, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials.

  • Bookings may require phone and email verification.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your booking ID.

3. User Responsibilities

Please ensure safe access to the chimney, fireplace, and roof when required. Clear nearby items and disclose any hazards.

  • Do not operate fireplaces during or immediately before service.
  • Keep pets and children away from the work area.
  • Notify us of structural issues or prior damage.

4. Scheduling & Service

We offer online and phone scheduling. Times are estimates and may vary due to weather or safety constraints. If unsafe conditions exist (ice, high winds, structural instability), we may reschedule without penalty.

Basic services include visual inspection, sweeping where accessible, and a service report with recommendations.

5. Payments & Refunds

Fees are disclosed during booking. Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellations ≥24 hours before the appointment: full refund of any prepayment.
  • Cancellations <24 hours: a reasonable late-cancel fee may apply.
  • Refunds are processed to the original method within 5–10 business days.

6. Liability

We perform services using industry-standard practices. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability for bodily injury caused by our negligence.

You acknowledge that masonry and chimney systems can hide pre-existing defects; cleaning may reveal them. We will document findings in your report.

8. Prohibited Use

  • No unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
